Y’s Lady Miki Oikawa Visit

Visit of Y’s Lady Miki Oikawa from Japan

We were honored to welcome Y’s Lady Miki Oikawa from the Kawagoe Y’s Men’s Club, Japan, who currently serves as Director of International Relationship.

During her visit to Sri Lanka, she joined us in exploring historic temples and experiencing the rich cultural heritage of Kandy. Her presence brought warmth and strengthened the bonds of friendship between our clubs.

We deeply appreciate her visit and look forward to continuing our collaboration and international fellowship.

Our Story

Y's Men's International Senkadagala Club is part of the global Y's Men International organization, which was founded in 1922. Our club has been serving the Kandy community for decades, working closely with the YMCA to promote youth development and community welfare.

We are committed to the principles of fellowship, service, and personal development. Through our various programs and initiatives, we strive to make a positive impact on society.

Our Mission

To acknowledge the duty that accompanies every right, to develop responsibility and teamwork, and to provide opportunities for service in the local, national, and world communities.

Refreshing hearts and minds at the Sacred Tooth Relic Temple 💧

The first community service project by Y’s Men International Senkadagala Club, where bottled drinking water was distributed to the devotees standing in queues to pay homage to the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha, ensuring their comfort and well-being during the religious observance.

The second community service project by Y’s Men International Senkadagala Club, focused on cleaning the Kandy Lake (Nuwara Wewa) to protect the environment and preserve the natural beauty of the sacred city.

Eyes of Hope 1000

Eyes of Hope 1000 👁️

Our next community project, “Eyes of Hope 1000,” aims to donate 1,000 contact lenses to the Kandy Eye Hospital. Through this initiative, we hope to bring clearer vision and renewed confidence to those in need — a small act of kindness that can make a world of difference.
